FV FLASH VENTURES LIMITED ("we") operates flash-ventures.co, and this policy explains what data we collect and the purpose of the collection. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Questions can be sent to legal@flash-ventures.co.
What we collect
- Contact / Apply form: the details you submit (how you are contacting us, your name, email, LinkedIn link, and message). With each submission we also store a record of your consent, the page you came from, which link or button you used to reach the form (so we can see which parts of the site people actually respond to), and your browser referrer. We ask Founders and Talent for a LinkedIn link so we can see who we would be building with.
- Analytics: via Microsoft Clarity: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, approximate location, and device/browser type, used in aggregate to improve the site.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (including IP address and browser user-agent) for security and reliability.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiries and applications, keep an auditable consent record, and understand how the site is used and which pages and links lead people to contact us. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (analytics cookies, form consent), our legitimate interests (replying, security, and site improvement, including the link-level attribution described above, which we use only in aggregate and never to build a profile of you), and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that run the site, and only to do their job: Microsoft Clarity (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), and Supabase (secure storage of form submissions). Some may process data outside your country, including the US, under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Cookies
A consent banner manages cookies, and necessary cookies are always
on. Analytics is off until you allow it: nothing from Microsoft Clarity
loads before then, and no analytics cookie is set. If you accept, Clarity sets
_clck (~1 year) and _clsk (~1 day) on this site, and
MUID, CLID, MR and SM on
clarity.ms. You can withdraw consent at any time via the banner or your browser settings.
Retention
Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and keep a reasonable record. The record of your consent is an audit log: it is kept as written, so that we can show what you agreed to and when. Analytics follow Microsoft Clarity’s retention periods.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete, or port your data; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; or complain to your data protection authority. Contact legal@flash-ventures.co. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
